Hello Kitty Cafe is now closed
I was on my way out of Singapore airport when I spotted the super cute Hello Kitty Orchid Garden Café, and even though it was much too early for such a pastel color overdose, there was no way around it. I had to go inside. There’s just something about that cat which makes me want to wear pink, draw rainbows and order desserts which are too pretty to eat.
I was the only customer in the café, so I got to sit in one of the hanging rattan chairs. The staff recommended me to get the Hide & Seek dessert with pandan panna cotta, vanilla ice cream and fresh berries, which looked just as cute in real life as in the menu photo. It was tasty too, so before I knew, I had cleared my plate including the fondant mini version of Hello Kitty. Too cute to eat? Nahhh!
I also had a drink, which I don’t remember the name of, and a latte. The coffee was nice, but I’ll be the first one to admit that the main reason why I ordered it was that I knew it came with this adorable Hello Kitty latte art. Wonder how they make it?
